Pumpkin Pandemonium | Recap 10/27

When we think of fall and October, we think PUMPKINS. So this past week we celebrated with some pumpkin parties

High School had a friendly pumpkin-carving competition. Each team carved a themed pumpkin, then created a one minute video showcasing their creations. We were entertained with scary movie pumpkins, eccentric Wes Anderson pumpkins, Disney pumpkins, and more! And while the pumpkins were carved and emptied, our stomachs were full! Filling lasagna and every pumpkin-themed treat you can imagine filled the kitchen table! I bet we all would say it was a gourd time.

Meanwhile, Willis & Lilly spilled the tea during the MS Bible Study, answering everyone's questions about God and life! Afterwards, MS joined the pumpkin pandemonium and competed to see who could carve the most creative pumpkin, the ugliest pumpkin, and the pumpkin that looks most like a mentor.

And just to leave you all with some more pumpkin fun, here are a few pumpkin puns for your day:

"What do you call a pumpkin that can slam-dunk a basketball? Michael Gourdan."

"Who helps the little pumpkins cross the road safely? The crossing gourd."

"How do you repair a broken jack o' lantern? Use a pumpkin patch."
