Middle-School-Hosted Parent Appreciation Night
After weeks of planning, prepping, and organizing, the middle school students pulled up their sleeves and got to work to host Parent Appreciation Night on December 1st!
The girls came early to prep food, consisting of roasted chicken, veggies, salad, and pie. They peeled potatoes, prepared the salad - a whole hour of cooking to ready the dinner! And the guys were busy as well! They planned, prepared, and lead the games and decorated the tables.
When the parents arrived, they were welcomed by greeters at the door and served dinner by the students. The parents were treated to a full program! We gave a recap of what MS students did this past semester and shared gratitude to appreciate our parents. And after their hearts were full of appreciation, things got a little heated... Parent vs. Student Competition! We had a series of games where parents and students headed off to see who would be victorious! The parents showed their skills and reminded the students who's boss.
Thanks again to all the parents for raising and supporting your students! And thank you to all the students for working hard and spending time to appreciate your parents!
