GearUP Robotics Summer Camp

Thanks for joining! See you next year!

Check out what we did this year!

GearUP Robotics Summer camp is a unique opportunity to dive into the world of coding and apply your skills to a thrilling robotics project.

What we will BUILD!

CONNECTION - This immersive experience not only offers hands-on learning in coding but also provides a platform for meaningful connections between middle school and high school students, and mentors

TEAMWORK - Discover the thrill of creativity and innovation as you collaborate with like-minded peers and mentors to bring your robotics project to life.

FUN - Learning doesn’t have to be painful. Engage your mind in a fun and interactive way, while making new friends. Make this a summer you won’t forget!

Campers will have hands-on learning utilizing VEX IQ robotics kits to learn key engineering skills like designing, prototyping, building, and refining.

With VEXcode Blocks, you’ll unlock the power of coding and learn how to bring your robotic creations to life. Explore fundamental coding concepts as you automate your robots to complete complex tasks.

Campers will compete in a final challenge to test their new-found skills.

High School Volunteers - FULL

Unlock the opportunity to lead and mentor middle school students in the exciting realm of robotics. Not only can you earn volunteer hours and prep for college applications, but you'll also take charge of inspiring robotics projects, gaining hands-on experience in robotics and coding, and refining your leadership skills. Join us in this dynamic journey where leadership meets innovation and walk away with meaningful peer and mentor relationships!

No prior coding or robotics experience needed. There will be ~9 hours of training included to get you up to speed.
