AYM | Saturday Adventures

The blog this week is taking a break from talk about Fridays - instead we wanted to highlight the fun adventures from this past weekend!

After our prayer walks on the different middle school and high school campuses as a challenge from Radical Like Jesus, different AYM staff hit the road on Saturday for many fun adventures!

High School Guys 🐻🏎️🍔

Some of the guys took a trip to LA to have a tour of UCLA and be encouraged to look toward their future as they are thinking about college. It was a lot of fun exploring the campus, eating the *famous* UCLA dining hall food, and gaining a different perspective about their future.

Afterwards, they took a pit stop to test their Go-Kart skills - can you guess who won?

High School Girls 🚗 🏎️ 🛻

At the same time, two of the mentors drove out to LA to visit one of our students (yes we have students that come all the way from LA!). To our surprise, they went to the car museum and got to take many selfies with famous cars - do you know where the car in the picture below is from? (Hint, its old).

It was a nice time to catch up, eat Korean food, and learn a lot about automotives!

Middle School 🦋✨ Ladies ✨🦋

Some of the middle schools took a nice stroll around the Newport Beach gardens and got to live their garden dreams as they saw various flowers, bushes, and butterflies!

They ended their afternoon walk with a picnic in the sun. What a spendid day - they were just missing their cups of tea.
