Middle School | Girls’ Devotional Group - Fall 2024

This fall, the AYM Middle School girls are meeting up weekly for devotional time together 📖 Since we started in September, we’ve learned different ways to study the Bible as we read through the book of Luke!

Last week, we applied the SOAP method to our DT text through Luke 7:36-50:

S - Scripture: Read the Bible text.

O - Observation: Take note of what is happening in the text. We used the 5 W’s - who, what, when, where, and why - and discussed different verses that stood out to us.

A - Application: Consider how this Bible passage relates to your life, and pick 1 way that God is asking you to obey through the text. 

P - Prayer: Pray about the text and what God revealed to you through His Word today.

We also added an extra letter just for fun:

Looking forward to continuing through the book of Luke this fall, and I’m excited to see how God speaks to each one of us as we read His word together! 💐
