CODE AND DESIGN CAMP

The Code and Design Camp will teach middle schoolers skills in Javascript, Figma, and more. High school volunteers, college students, design and engineering working professionals will mentor attendees.

Schedule

Free dinner will be provided for all days of the camp.

  • Tuesday, July 9th - Wednesday, July 10th

    5:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Registration for middle school campers and dinner

    6:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Code and design camp

    Thursday, July 11th

    5:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Registration for middle school campers and dinner

    6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Code and design camp

  • Monday, July 8th

    5:00 pm - 8:30 pm: High school volunteers training

    Tuesday, July 9th - Wednesday, July 10th

    5:00 pm - 5:30 pm: High school volunteers training

    5:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Registration for middle school campers and dinner

    6:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Code and design camp time

    8:00 pm - 8:30 pm: High school volunteers debrief time

    Thursday, July 11th

    5:00 pm - 5:30 pm: High school volunteers training

    5:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Registration for middle school campers and dinner

    6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Code and design camp time

    7:00 pm - 7:30 pm: High school volunteers debrief time

The camp will be located at Major Owens Community Center at 1561 Bedford Ave 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11225

 

Registration

$50 per middle school attendee
