Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Can’t believe we are already on Day 6 of December. We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving season reflecting on the many blessings in your life. Five things AYM Irvine is grateful for… (1) HS/MS students coming to Bible Study on Fridays (when you could be doing something else!), (2) AYM mentors generously offering up their time to meet with HS/MS students and share from the word of God through weekly Devo Times!, (3) Parents who are supportive in letting their youth join AYM, (4) Friendships & fun this past year at AYM, (5) Getting the chance to be a part of the NT Bible Reading Challenge & win a trip to Knott’s Berry! (I hope you’ve been keeping up :O!)

So many more things to be grateful for & thankful we can celebrate with you all. Here’s a picture from our HS Friendsgiving party where we ate two (yes, two!) deep fried turkeys & all the traditional fixings. We also learned that actually taking the time to thank someone in your life AND letting that person know INCREASES your OVERALL happiness! We were challenged to try it out as we all wrote letters to someone & gave them that note too; so if you’re feeling particularly down, try expressing gratitude to just one person in your life and see happiness increase! :)
